"The Break"

I was actually talking to someone online and told them I had to go because the sun had come out….I walked steadily and opened the door. I stood on the side walk and let it slowly warm my face….I know now why smiley faces are yellow. I am so grateful for the sun, really it is humbling…I am truly so thankful. I walked almost all day. I came home when it was dark.

"Heat Shrine"

This is the head shrine that my feet worship at night after night….all the little piggies huddle together at it's grilled mouth blowing hot breath whilst it stares at me suspiciously with those robotic, slightly more menacing kermit the frog like eyes and that power glowing Hindu light. We sit staring. "I don't know about you....." I say softly...my eyes squinting into half moons... "Well....... I don't know about you, ..." he quickly whispers back. I can’t complain though… as long as he keeps them warm I won’t have to listen to them squeal all night.

…and yes I know my socks do not match. thank you.

Oh My God...Stop Raining...

I wish every drop of rain that was falling had a throat…I would gather every drop that fell and slit every last one of their throats. This is not a joke....It is driving me insane.....

"Bored"

Just happened to have my camera with me when I went for a walk downtown....ended up on the water front...people watching.
Lambton Quay

they were actually pointing where I should stand and watch for a bit.

a beauty.

these 3 photos are a sequence series I like to call: "Parent FAIL"

I couldn't get the next shot of this kid drowning because I was too busy taking off my socks and shoes...way to go mommy

a grimace vs. grimace on who would finish first.

her head ducks down as she pushes through first and you can see the mouth drop of the defeated --what a wuss beaten by a 7 year old girl.

confused?

good.

ok these last 2 shots were sequence, follow me here. Look closely and this is visually described in what she was thinking: "Time moves slowly behind me unaware...I feel out of focus but what lies ahead of me is clear now."
this guy definitely took the scenic route to work on purpose

Manuel and myself scoping the arch...I don’t know why no one takes any pictures when we are actually climbing---yea I just thought of that but ill try to get some shots---might be awhile though cuz we are in the dead of winter and the days are fewer and far between when it doesn’t rain….so...but I just bought some new climbing shoes and they are siiiiick…I know no one cares but im talking about it anyway. I am professing it to the world that I LOVE THEM…YES I LOVE THEM, and and and THEY LOVE ME—so all of you can just butt out...I don’t care what you think mom and dad, we are going to live..live lives and be happy together….sob sob smile sob…….and.. I'm done.

me and "me" 3 months from now without cutting any hair

Mr. Meowgi

Mr. Meowgi having a laugh after a joke I told him….

Sculpture Fail.

Why? No, I mean I’m really asking why…why was this ever thought of as something to be made and sold…look at it…..look at that guy’s face.---what!!! I want to meet the person who went through the thought process of making this. I was so baffled after murmuring “what...” like five times to myself that I got the person who was running the store over there and asked him straight up.—I looked at him and then I looked at this man with a hog strapped to his back and asked genuinely, wanting a real answer---Sir, who would buy this? Who.........would buy this? He had no idea what to say. I didn’t either…silence took the moment…I said “ok.” Then I left.
